Advancing Our Community Together

NPact Vision

Where did NPact come from? Here's where!

Ongoing collaboration to enhance the community and support local businesses.

History

When the former NPBCA organization dissolved in the early 2020s, a group of passionate New Philadelphia residents, business owners, city officials, and community leaders came together with a shared vision. Through thoughtful discussions and strategic planning, they explored what a successful and sustainable city organization could look like. By consulting with a strategic planner and visiting other thriving communities, they identified key steps to drive meaningful progress in New Philadelphia.

Current Organization

Determined to create an organization that is viable, inclusive, and impactful, NPact was formed in partnership with the city to spearhead projects that enhance our community. To ensure our efforts aligned with the needs and aspirations of local residents, we conducted extensive outreach—utilizing surveys, social media, printed materials, and direct engagement. Additionally, we assembled a strategic planning committee comprising business leaders, city partners, residents, and educators to develop a clear roadmap, establish by-laws, and launch our first initiatives.

NPact, which stands for New Philadelphia Advancing the Community Together, is now guided by a dedicated Board of Trustees, supported by an advisory committee, and strengthened by a strong partnership with the city. With the help of committed volunteers, we continue working together to create a vibrant and thriving community for all.
